LEGO Friends - LEGO & Gender Part 1
*Sigh* I would like to remind people of this:
See? A girl playing with everyday normal LEGO. I don’t know why people started thinking it was just for boys. I don’t believe it ever was.
When I was little we had a huge thing of LEGOS, Sharon (my older sister) loved them and got a medieval castle set with warriors. When it came time to get me LEGOS my parents let me pick, I chose the pastel “girly” ones because I liked the colors better, and I got a ranch set with horses. What ended up happening? We mixed all our LEGOS together. Sharon’s mini-figs had horses to pillage with and I used the black LEGOS to create cleaner looking stalls. Two girls, two sets of LEGOS, and still we were able to enjoy LEGOS exactly how we wanted to.
